Arsenal’s past two games

On Saturday they played Sheffield and lost, 1-0 and it was a horrible game.  From the start their passing was misfiring, always slightly off.  The number of turnovers was legion.  Baptista played an unusually awful game, never really able to get the ball to go where he wanted it to.  Sheffield also employed their typical gameplan: play rough and set Arsenal off their game, and it worked.

On Tuesday they beat Charlton 4-0, a game I couldn’t watch.  Henry was back for this one and Fabergas started in the center with Persie scoring two, way to go!  Hopefully they’ll be able to carry some momentum forward to this weekend’s match against Liverpool.

Arsenal v Chelsea

Wow, what a match.  Honestly Chelsea played the better game with longer possession and more quality shots on goal but Arsenal showed real strength.  They were without 4 of their starters and still played defiantly.  Great job boys.
